The singles tournament will held on the 18th at 6pm and the doubles tournament will be held on the 19th at 6pm.

Bring your own views and/or experiences where one’s ethnicity has become the target of discrimination, exploitation, and violent oppression. We will interface our views with those of key biblical texts (both flattering and unflattering) as we seek to glean wisdom from the biblical tradition and our own experience. Our facilitator will be Dr. Jon Malesic from the Theology Dept. who recently published (Brazos Press) a text on Christian identity in the public arena. Our Perspectives on Scripture session will begin at 7 pm in the Campus Ministry Center. Join us for what promises to be a fascinating discussion of one of the most critical issues of our time.

Due to necessary electrical upgrades, power will be disconnected to the third floor Admin Building after 9PM next Wednesday November 18th.

Additionally floors one, two and three will be shut down after 9 PM on Monday November 23rd and Tuesday the 24th. The fifth floor on Friday and Saturday November 27th and 28th.

IT will send out instructions in a separate communication. All work will be completed before 7AM the following morning and power will be restored. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

Angel Giving Tree
The Office of Volunteer Services asks you to extend joy to another during our Third Annual Angel Giving Tree Drive. From November 16 through December 8, 2009, OVS will be collecting:
- #2 Pencils (Non-mechanical)
- Construction paper
- Erasers
- Crayons (boxes of 8 or 16)
- Jump Ropes
- Beanie Babies
for the children of the Flood Elementary School after school program and for King’s Alum, Peace Corps Volunteer Chris Ring (stationed in Kyrgyzstan). Items do not need to be wrapped. Donations can be returned to the Office of Volunteer Services located at 171 North Franklin Street or dropped off in a cardboard box in the campus center. Any donation would be greatly appreciated!

A bus will be available at 12:00, 12:30, and 1:00 from the library entrance on W. Jackson Street. The shuttle bus will also be available from Holy Cross Hall at 12:15 and 12:45. Return trips to campus will commence 15 minutes after the end of the game. Please be aware that traffic conditions may cause some delay. The regular shuttle schedule will be interupted temporarily to accommodate this game schedule.
